Welding Competition

I had the opportunity to cover a welding competition for young students, an event designed to showcase their skills and precision in metalwork. The goal was to capture the intensity, focus, and craftsmanship of these aspiring welders as they competed in a high-stakes environment.

One of the biggest challenges was working with dynamic lighting conditions—the bright sparks from welding contrasted with the dim workshop atmosphere. To overcome this, I adjusted my exposure settings carefully and used creative angles to highlight both the technical skill and the dramatic lighting effects.

This project was a great experience in capturing fast-moving, high-energy moments while telling the story of dedication and craftsmanship. The final images successfully conveyed the passion and skill of these young competitors, and they were well received by event organizers and participants.
